Cadru Community rules

In short

Cadru is a place where people make and show their photos: albums, carousels, zines. To keep it a good place we ask three things: show only what is yours, be kind to others, and respect the people in the photos.

Respect

Comment as if you were speaking face to face.

  • no insults, threats, harassment or mockery;
  • no hate or discrimination (origin, religion, gender, orientation, disability or anything else);
  • criticism is welcome when it is about the work, not the person;
  • do not follow someone who has asked you to leave them alone.

The people in the photos

A public photo shows real people.

  • publish photos of other people only with their consent - and, for children, their parents' consent;
  • if someone asks you to take down a photo of them, take it down;
  • tag someone only if it really is them; withdraw a wrong tag;
  • nothing intimate, humiliating, or that exposes someone against their will.

What you publish to the Feed

  • only works you made, from your own photos or photos you have the right to use;
  • do not copy someone else's work or publish it as yours ("Make one like it" takes only the arrangement, with your photos);
  • do not remove, cover or get around the "made with cadru.photo" mark on free works;
  • no ads, spam, misleading links or fake accounts;
  • everything the Terms forbid (illegal, violent, sexually explicit content and more) is forbidden here too.

Comments and reactions

  • on topic: about the work and the photos;
  • no repeated messages, ads or follow-for-follow requests;
  • reactions and likes are not bought and not inflated with extra accounts.

Reporting

Beside every work and comment you can report what breaks the rules, or write to us. We look quickly, and whoever reports stays anonymous to the person reported.

What happens when rules are broken

It depends on how serious it is and whether it repeats:

  • we remove the content and tell you why;
  • we give you a warning;
  • we suspend the account for a while;
  • we close the account. For serious breaches (child abuse, threats, intimate images without consent) we close the account at once and inform the authorities.

If you disagree

Write to us and we look at the decision again. These rules are part of the Cadru Terms, and you accept them when you open an account.
