Thassos 2026

Autumn 2026 on Thassos, the green island in the north of the Aegean - coast roads, white villages, stone and wood, quiet coves, long sunsets and the villages up in the mountains. How it was made: it started as a shared Google Photos album. The link went to an AI assistant connected to Cadru, which looked at all the photos, picked 112 and laid them out as a story in six chapters - a strong photo for the cover, a title page, whole pages to breathe, panoramas across two pages, runs of 2-4 for the busy days. Then it was opened in the editor and finished by hand: the cover, the title page, a few swaps. After that, a few small prompts to spice it up: - "put some handwritten notes on the photos, like with a marker" - short Caveat notes on white tape - "add QR codes to Google Maps for the places we know" - Panagia, Golden Beach and the ferry port - "a drawn map of the island with pins" - traced from the real coastline (OpenStreetMap) - "a contents page" and "a postcard at the end" - a front with "Greetings from Thassos" and a back with a message, a stamp and a postmark 64 pages inside, printed as a hardcover - or downloaded as a print-ready PDF.
